As we all know about the fourth planet or maybe the most popular planet on earth “Mars”. Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun and the second-smallest planet in the Solar System, being larger than only Mercury. Gravity, 2.66 times that of Mars, 0.375 that of Earth. Temperature, Average 57 degrees F, Average -81 degrees F. Atmosphere, nitrogen, oxygen, argon, and others. Mars carries the name of the Roman god of war and is often referred to as the “Red Planet”.
The measurement suggests that the radius of the Martian core is 1,810 to 1,860 kilometers, roughly half that of Earth’s. That’s larger than some previous estimates, meaning the core is less dense than had been predicted.
Surface winds typically move about 16 to 32 kilometers (10 to 20 miles) per hour. The Viking Landers measured speeds of up to 113 kilometers (70 miles) per hour during dust storms.
Several more Red Planet robots have since sent back a variety of views of Martian sunrises and sunsets. NASA’s Insight lander returned several views of Martian sunrises and sunsets that also captured parts of the spacecraft on a dusty plain.

Mars is red because it has a layer of rusty dust covering its entire surface! Mars has some of the largest dust storms in the galaxy, in which the red dust gets whipped into the light atmosphere surrounding the planet.

NASA’s Mars Exploration Program includes the rover Perseverance and the small robotic, coaxial helicopter Ingenuity. The launch date of the Mars 2020 Perseverance Rover was 30 July 2020 at 11:50. The Rocket was Atlas V (AV-088). The Mars Perseverance rover successfully landed on Feb. 18, 2021. Perseverance, nicknamed Percy is a car-sized mars rover designed to explore the crater Jezero on Mars as part of NASA’s Mars 2020 mission. It was manufactured by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Confirmation that the rover successfully landed on Mars was received on 18 February 2021. Perseverance is a 1-ton, 6-wheeled Mars rover the size of a compact car.
Mars Perseverance Rover
The car-sized Perseverance rover has roughly the same dimensions as Curiosity: it’s about 10 feet long (not including the arm), 9 feet wide, and 7 feet tall about 3 meters long, 2.7 meters wide, and 2.2 meters tall.
The mission is designed to deliver a robotic rover named ‘Perseverance’ to the surface of Mars which will make scientific measurements of Martian terrain and materials and collect and cache Martian material samples for a possible return to Earth by a subsequent mission.
It adds a new entry, descent, and landing (EDL) technologies, such as Terrain-Relative Navigation (TRN). This sophisticated navigation system allows the rover to detect and avoid hazardous terrain by diverting around it during its descent through the Martian atmosphere.
These are the internal parts of the Rover Perseverance, all the parts work simultaneously with each other. The names of each part is listed above in the image. This is the mission mars to obtain its objectives but the main mission will complete when a human lands on the surface of the “Red Planet” May be in upcoming years we can surely put our first step to our new Home….
